The Rt. Hon. Craig Whittaker, the Member of Parliament for Calder Valley, is holding his 7th annual Older Persons’ Information & Advice Fair, in Brighouse, on Friday 20 October. The Fair will provide local people with information about services and social organisations available to them.
The event will be useful for retiring or retired individuals, or anyone who would like to discover local services and amenities in Calderdale. The fair is not exclusive to older persons, and anyone is welcome.
There will be a variety of stalls including, Age UK, Macmillan, Together Housing, Infinity Later Life, West Yorkshire Police, and many other local groups and societies.
The Rt. Hon. Craig Whittaker MP said:
“Everyone is welcome to join me at my annual Older Persons’ Information and Advice Fair. The last event was incredibly successful, and this year we have many more stalls and organisations available at the Fair.
“It is a great opportunity for constituents to discover more about services in the area, and I look forward to meeting everyone there.”
The event is free entry, and it will be held at Todmorden Town Hall, on Friday 20 October, between 10:00 – 14:00. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
