Craig Whittaker MP is holding his sixth Older Persons’ Information and Advice Fair tomorrow, Friday 17th March, in Brighouse.
The Fair is aimed at providing local people with information on social organisations and services available in Brighouse and around Calderdale.
The event will be beneficial for residents who have retired, are about to retire, or know someone who is retired and would like to discover local activities and support. The Fair is not exclusive for older people, so feel free to bring family and friends who are interested in finding out what their local area has to offer.
There will be lots of stalls from local clubs and organisations to charities and health services. There will also be organisations who can offer support and advice on care services, pensions and wills.
The Fair will be held:
Date: Friday 14 October 2022
Venue: Brighouse Methodist Church
Time: 10am - 2pm
Local councillors and Craig will be attending the Fair to answer any questions on local or national issues you may have. Tea and coffee will be available.
Speaking about the event Craig said:
“This time tomorrow, we will be kicking off my sixth annual Older Persons' Advice & Information Fair!
The Older Persons' Fair I held late last year in Todmorden was incredibly successful and very well attended. Residents found the event to be informative and useful, coming away with lots of important information about local services and ways to get involved with local groups.
So, make sure you pop down to Brighouse Central Methodist Church between 10am - 2pm, join me and our 55 stallholders for a cuppa and a chat.”
