Craig’s A-Z Virtual Careers Fair took place on Wednesday 13th October and brought together over 300 students and career changers with 35 employers.
These employers ranged from Accountant, to Chef, to Personal Trainer, to Zoo Keeper, and had at least one employer representing each letter of the alphabet. The event was officially opened by the Minister of State for Higher Education and Further Education – The Rt Hon Michelle Donelan MP.
Students from 16 schools across the Calder Valley and beyond were involved with the fair and together contributed in asking well over 1000 questions to the employers on offer.
Craig said:
“I am thrilled with the huge success of this event and cannot thank the students and employers in attendance enough. The fair showcased some of the incredible companies the Calder Valley has to offer and it was great to see so many students engaging with them. We have received fantastic feedback from attendees and are already thinking ahead to how we can make this event even bigger and better next year.”
